THE VICTORIA FALLS CITY COUNCIL, hereby gives notice, in terms of subsection (2) of section
15 of the Regional, Town and Country Planning Act, Chapter 29: 12, as read with section 8 of the
Regional, Town and Country Planning (Master and Local Plans) Regulations (RGN 248 of 1977),
that the DRAFT VICTORIA FALLS MASTER PLAN has been Adopted and is now on public
exhibition commencing 17th October 2024 and ending 16th December 2024.
All the documents relevant to the Draft Victoria Falls Master Plan are on public exhibition at
Victoria Falls City Council Offices -Town Planning Offices on the following days and at the
following times:
Monday – 0800hrs to 1600hrs
Tuesday – 0800hrs to 1600hrs
Wednesday – 0800hrs to 1600hrs
Thursday – 0800hrs to 1600hrs
Friday – 0800hrs to 1600hrs
All documents can be accessed electronically on the following Website, https://www.vfcc.co.zw/.
Any interested person or organization may make objections to, or representations regarding, the
Draft Master Plan, in writing to the Provincial Planning Officer Department of Spatial Planning
Matebeleland North Province, Ministry of Local Government, Public Works, Mhlahlandlela
Government Complex, Bulawayo; on or before 28th December, 2024.
Objections and representations should state the matters to which they relate and the grounds
on which they are made. Objections or representations must, at the same time, be copied and
sent to the Town Clerk, Victoria Falls City Council, Corner Livingstone Way and Parkway Drive,
Victoria Falls Email: vfcc.registry@vfm.co.zw, to whom objections and representations must be
addressed.
Explanatory note. – The area covered by this master plan measures 244.2km2 in extend
comprising Victoria Falls City, Victoria Falls National Park, Portion of Zambezi National Park,
Masuwe Special Economic Zone, Nakavango Forest and Fuller Forrest.
